As you may have noticed, I've taken a brief break in the past few weeks. During that time, I’ve been thinking about how to provide additional value for thought leaders about AI and GenAI adoption. A few months back, I attended a GenAI adoption event sponsored by CIO Magazine related to GenAI adoption, and I got a partial copy of the attendee list. I was able to reconstruct the complete list using GenAI (that is another story, Article 91: Augmented Reality / Marketing Research )

The event was a melting pot of diverse industries and thought leader roles, each with their unique expectations and perspectives. This rich tapestry of attendees has sparked my curiosity about the nuances of their experiences and needs.

This series is a culmination of my reflections on the event and the insights I've gained from the attendee list. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities that AI and GenAI represent for Thought Leaders in various Industry Segments, starting with IT Services and Consulting.

As you may think, the most significant representation came from IT Services and Consulting Firms, so let me start by explaining my understanding of their biggest Frustrations, Wants, Dreams, and Fears.
